July 2008. Welcome to CRIPPLE BASTARDS' official homepage. Sorry - long time no updates, but the band has been extremely busy first recording the new album and later doing a lot of shows all around. CB have just celebrated their 20 year birthday (1988-2008) and would like to thank the hundreds of supporters that showed up at the anniversary party that took place in Cremona, May 2008.

CB have just officialized that their 4th full length album will be entitled "Variante alla morte" (Death Variant) and include 24 brand new songs recorded and mixed in March 2008 at Studio Fredman in Hyssna/Sweden by Fredrik Nordström and mastered in April 2008 at Tailor Maid / Sweden by Peter In De Betou. The album will be released on September 1st 2008 by FETO Records, the U.K.-based label headed up by by Shane Embury (NAPALM DEATH) and Mick Kenney (ANAAL NATHRAKH) and simultaneously on vinyl/gatefold LP by Deep Six Records/USA, a well-known thrash/fastcore label that also brought to light a wonderful LP edition of the previous "Desperately insensitive" and tons of legendary acts such as INFEST, HIRAX, PHOBIA, SIEGE, MAN IS THE BASTARD and so on.


CRIPPLE BASTARDS have just confirmed a 3 date italian minitour with NYC's grind gods BRUTAL TRUTH for launching and introducing the new album. Here's the complete list of the shows confirmed so far (many more are TBC, check our myspace for constant updates)..:

>> CRIPPLE BASTARDS' longly-announced "Blackmails and assholism" double DVD still fresh on Obscene Prod.!!!

After being announced (and delayed) for years, CB's double DVD is OUT NOW on Obscene, and got spectacular reviews on TERRORIZER, DECIBEL MAG, OX and Italy's ROCKSOUND, METAL HAMMER etc. The DVD is officially distributed in Italy by E.U.'91 >> ORDER NOW, and outside of Italy directly by Obscene >> ORDER NOW. Note: the DVD is PAL region 0 (which means that can be easily played by a hybrid DVD player also in oversea areas) and consists of 2 x double layer discs for the total length of 6 hrs and 45 min.

- 1988-1998 documentary: a 1h and 40min documentary about CB's history in the first 10 years (1988-1988) with interviews to the former members and a lot of rare, restored VHS footage showing the Bastards at their very beginning.
- video-report of the first US tour (East Coast 2002) including the notorious ABC No Rio case and more stuff related;
- video-report of the second US tour (West Coast 2003) with PHOBIA including shows in California, Seattle, Denver, Texas and Tijuana/Mexico;
- extras/trailer;

D I S C # 2:

- 1998-2007 documentary: a 3 hour film riding thru the basic features that consolidated the band's style and negative fame in the last decade. Interviews with the current members, a history of CB related to the many tours and festivals (5 times at Obscene Extreme, tours with Ratos de Porao etc), reports and tips on each album and a huge part explaining/showing in detail how the band's controversy and "assholism" has born and widespread all over the years.

CB's main release for 2008 is the upcoming 4th album (title TBA soon) on F.E.T.O. Records/UK that will include over 20 brand new tracks.

after being in standby for years due to the unsolved deal with the guy that paid for the studio mastering, SelfMadeGod Records from Poland is definitely confirmed as the label that will put this out. The masters are here now and as soon as CB's new full length will be released we'll start to put together the artwork for this. Expect a deluxe digipack boxset featuring remastered versions of ALL the CRIPPLE BASTARDS tapes released from 1988 to 1993 + an incredible amount of unreleased tunes drawing the complete history of the Bastards on tape. This will include the 4 official demos, the split 7” with Violent Headache session (with extra unreleased trax!), the whole ‘88-1991 collection, all side-projects and basically hours of unreleased noise including pre-CB, pre-Grimcorpses thrash from late 1986/early 1987! >> CRIPPLE BASTARDS "Live to hate people 1+2" LP
as far as Massacro Records from Milano/Italy is RIP, we thought to release "Live to hate people 2" (including our Rovereto 2005 set that ended into a savage riot) along with a remastered version of the previous issue (1997-1998) and put them together on a full length LP with a completely new unreleased layout. This will see the light on Haunted Hotel Rec/NYC someday in 2009.
